JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Position title: Senior Software Development Engineer for Mobile Application Development

Report to: Group Leader /Project Manager

 

PRIMARY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical lead in mobile application development projects (size up to 5 members):
• Establishing estimation, propose technical development solution with customer;
• Supporting project management in making project plan, monitoring and controlling project progress, complying company's process;
• Directly involving & instructing team members in essential work of software development (such as requirement definition, software design, implementation, testing);
• Accountable for technical solutions and leading the team to solve technical issues during the project;
• Accountable for continuously discovering, evaluating and implementing new technologies to optimize development efficiency or improve product quality;

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct training & coaching junior members in mobile application development.

 

SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1. Background

• Bachelor/Engineer degree in Computer Science or equivalent in the software development field;
• 4-5 years or more of software development experience, with at least 3 years working experience at mobile application development.

2. Technical skills requirements

• Expert knowledge at iOS development (Swift, Objective-C) and/or Android development (Java, Android IDEs);
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling and Multithread applications;
• Experience in Web service: HTML/CSS/JS/RESTful/JSON API;
• Experience in Social network API: AWS Authentication/S3 Streaming…;
• Knowledge about Z-wave or Zigbee is a plus;
• Good technical writing skills.

3. Personality/Soft Skills

• Good team working skills;
• Strong technical, problem-solving, analytical skills;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills: able to communicate directly with customer to explain about technical issue clearly, communicate with multi-side during support customer;
• Open minded, quality oriented and long-term commitment;
• Adapt quickly with changes (in technology, customer request);
• Working under pressure when support customer solving problem;

4. Communication Language

• Fluent communication using English is a must ( TOEIC 600 or higher);
• Japanese: motivation to learn Japanese. JLPT N3 or higher is a plus.
